Just wanted to hear what people's favourite gig experiences were. I think there are awesome stories to be heard.
Mine would be when I saw The Presets at Sound Relief and it was pouring down rain, and everyone was just going off dancing like a spaz in the mosh pit in the rain. The most freeing experience ever!

That sounds like it would of been fun and an awesome experience!
A few of my favourites are
Robbie Williams a long long time ago, can't remember what year. maybe 2000 or 2001.
Boyzone earlier this year at Wembley Arena. Such a different experience to see them in a different country. And before Stephen passed away
Coldplay earlier this year. They are just an awesome band live.
could go on, but thats enough for now!
Diamonds really are a girls best friend
When I saw Parkway Drive in August at the Brisbane Riverstage.
It was storming on that night, and over 5000 people outlasted the wind, rain and hail to see Parkway. was freaking insane in the moshpit and they played a brand new never-before-heard song to us. Wish For Wings, Architects and August Burns Red also played killer sets and just did perfectly as the openers for Parkway. They really got the crowd going and set up Circle-pits. a night to never forget.
If you're Metal and you know it, bang your head.
Green Day, December 8th 2009, Brisbane Entertainment Centre.
I hate that venue with a passion but it was Green Day so I wasn't going to let the location of the concert bother me too much. We arrived at the venue around 2 pm, sat in line for ages talking to people and making new friends-everyone was just so great. When we finally got into the venue I ended up on the barricade. It was just amazing, being that close to the band allowed me to totally forget my dislike for the venue as a whole. Green Day played for 2.5 hours or something and I smiled the whole time. My face hurt afterwards and I was bruised for the next week but it was all worth it. Not only did GD sound amazing, it was just a great atmosphere down in that front pit.
The most memorable parts of the night were, for me at least, the whole of Jesus of Suburbia and Billie Joe leading us into a sing along of Hey Jude...that song with nearly 10 000 people singing in unison is pretty much a magical experience. It's going to take an absolutely incredible show to top that one.
oh wow, Hey Jude would of been an awesome experience! One of my favourite songs.
I've seen Green day a few times before but that was a loooong time ago.
If anyone hears who will be supporting Lady Gaga for March concerts, would love to know....Thanks
I have seen Kiss, Bon Jovi, Sammy Hagar, Sherbet lol.
I think one of the most memorable would be the 1995 Kiss concert in Brissy.
Awesome to see them live finally after not getting to their first tour in 1980.
Added bonus I won backstage pass and got to mingle with the Simmster and the rest of the guys.
great weekend that ....

Well, I think bid day out 2010 was pretty amazing. got right up the front of the moshes to see heaps of great bands including kisschasey, eskimo joe, jet, lily alen and ladyhawke. And Dizze Rascal! i never really knew any of his songs, but his performance was great!
I also enjoyed paramore at soundwave early this year, except we didnt get right up the front because my friend passed out just before they started! oh well, will get to see them in october.
One of the biggest concerts I've been to was Fleetwood Mac last year. OMG. That was an amazing experience. hehe, i just remembered posting last year about whether i should go or not because there wouldnt be anyone my age there. So glad i went!
Pink was pretty amazing. And I've seen many bands on smaller stages, which is nice because you can get really close to them. just a few: cut copy, living end, operator please, gyroscope, kasey chambers.
